Levent

Levent is one of the most masterful comedy magicians I have met... His magical frenzy reflects the obsessiveness of his magical gagdets and acts that he creates from scratch. I hope to do a photoshoot of all his intricate gadgets sometime soon. If he hadn't become a magician, I'm sure he would have made a great engineer. He crafts his acts, jokes and magic with such cunning precision and care that the audience cannot help but be surprised and delighted each step of the way.

Simon Lovell

Simon Lovell reminds me of a cross between "The Grinch" and Jack Nicholson. He's an extremely cunning british bloke... and when I say cunning, that's no joke. watch out! because he is considered to be one of the world's top sleight of hand masters! I would never want to play poker against him... it's as if he has the power of freezing time when he handles cards because he moves so cleverly and slyly that only time travel would permit such acts. He loves his cigarettes, his dirty jokes and you'll rarely ever see him without a brown bag... and we love him because he's Simey.

You can catch his magic show called "strange and Unusual Hobbies" every saturday night at the SOHO playhouse. He was also on VH1's Celebracadabra. He taught Carnie Wilson how to do a card trick. He also once told me that he was in Tim Burton's Batman. He plays one of the bad guys with Jack Nicholson!

Reed and I hung out with David's magic crew while he was busy doing his thing....

David Blaine

The day after doing the video shoot of Reed McClintock, he had a meeting with David Blaine at David's NYC apartment and he invited me to go along with him! It was one week before he broke the world record for holding his breath. We went to show David new magic tricks and techniques. We hung out at David's for a few hours and talked magic with him and his magic gang. It was a blast! I did my business card trick for David and sat in on David's inner circle of magic talks. how surreal!

Reed McClintock

He's the "Bad-Ass" of the Magic World... If any actor had to play him in a movie, I would choose Bruce Willis from Pulp Fiction. He really loves feeling the connection with his audience members and truly wowing them with his showmanship skills. You can really feel how his magic has saved him and how he channels his talents everyday of his life to live it to the fullest. He once told me "You only have 30,000 days to live of your life. What are you going to do with each one of those precious days to make your life better? Magic for me is making the impossible possible, turning fantasy into reality and showing people that anything can happen as long as you allow yourself to imagine it".

The Magicians of Fantasma Magic

I've been doing video and photo shoots of the world's top magicians for the past few months through Fantasma Magic Store here in NYC. Come check out the store sometime on 33rd St and 7th Ave on the second floor. It is truly a surreal hubbub of the magic epicenter of NYC.
check out www.FantasmaMagic.com...

Thanks to Roger Dreyer, the CEO of Fantasma Magic, I've had the pleasure of getting to know the greatest magicians of our time as I shoot videos of them doing their magic and take pictures on the trail of these wonderful characters. Along this magical journey so far I have entertained Heath Ledger with my magic card tricks 3 months before he died as requested by a mutual friend... I had the honor of meeting David Blaine at his NYC apartment and sitting in as part of his magic inner circle talks... I have had personal one-on-one magic lessons from Johnny Thompson, Bob Fitch, Reed McClintock, Simon Lovell, David Roth, JP Laramee, Magick Ballay, Jim Fromewick and Levent! All AMAZING performers and magicians and considered to be the top magicians in the world!

please check out my blog as I post pictures of my latest adventures in the subculture of magic!
